A new paper from Dr. Derek Loftis and Dr. Harry Wang at VIMS focuses on street-level inundation modeling from storm surge and precipitation in Hampton Roads.

Published in the Journal of Coastal Research online, the paper states uses more accurate modeling techniques with data from recent hurricanes, including Irene and Isabel, to more accurately predict storm-related flooding and average sea level rises.
