Adaptation strategies, climate change in Hampton Roads, sea level rise and recurrent flooding resiliency were the topics of discussion at the recent Blue Planet Forum presented by Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Old Dominion University.
The Forum took place on Tuesday (April 25, 2017) at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. Panelist included Don Boesch (President, University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science), Dan Burger (Chair, Charleston Resilience Network and Director, Coastal Services Division, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, Ocean and Coastal Resource Management), Beth Mcgee (Director of Science and Agricultural Policy, Chesapeake Bay Foundation), and Dale Morris (Senior Economist, Royal Netherlands Embassy).
