The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) has established a subcommittee of the Mapping and Engineering Standards Committee to focus on the Cooperating Technical Partner program.The goal is to help identify mechanisms to measure successes and share best practices among mapping partners. This web meeting is intended to help meet these goals.

Silver Jackets teams in states across the United States bring together multiple state, federal, and sometimes tribal and local agencies to learn from one another in reducing flood risk and other natural disasters. By applying their shared knowledge, the teams enhance response and recovery efforts when such events do occur.
