The ASFPM Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to present – “Larry A. Larson Speaker Series: Creating Flood Resilient Communities”

The featured speaker for the second annual event is Margaret Davidson, Senior
Advisor for Coastal Inundation and Resilience Science and Services with NOAA
and the National Ocean Service. Margaret will discuss “Changes I’ve Observed”,
highlighting her observations over her long, illustrious career serving coastal
resource management needs for NOAA and other entities. The NOAA Center for
Weather and Climate Prediction is the selected location due to the strong ties
between NOAA, ASFPM Foundation and ASFPM.

The intent of this series is to create opportunities for interaction among the
nation’s thought leaders on flood risk reduction policy. The ASFPM Foundation
was created in 1996 to focus attention on sound public policy and promote
the resolution of issues critical to sustainable flood risk management.
