ODU-RC Faculty Research Seed Funds (ODU-RC FRSF) provide up to $15,000 per project to support resilience-related projects aligned with the faculty member or collaborative team’s research agenda. The total funding available for these funds is $30,000. The purpose of the program is to nurture research and future scholarly efforts and raise the visibility of the ODU-RC as a consortium of leading scholars actively engaged in research, education, and outreach on critical issues for resilience at the community, regional, national, and global levels. ODU-RC FRSF awards are intended to position faculty members/teams to publish and present on their research, build a strong research agenda, and may provide the foundation for external funding applications.

TIMELINE:

• December 15, 2017- Funding opportunity announced
• February 26, 2018, 4 pm- Proposal DEADLINE
• April 15, 2018- ODU-RC Faculty Research Seed Fund Awards announced
