The next meeting of the HRPDC Coastal Resiliency Working Group will be on Friday, January 26th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the HRPDC Board Room. This meeting will include discussion on ideas for a potential regional outreach and education program on flood insurance. Specifically, going over existing local efforts, possible community partners, potential methods, and how such a program could complement other local efforts and programs. The Coastal Resiliency Committee and Chief Administrative Officers have expressed support for such a program, and the discussion will aid the HRPDC staff in drafting a proposal.

The target audience for this discussion is planners, floodplain managers, emergency managers, and other local staff engaged in resiliency planning and floodplain management. Please forward this to anyone you think may be able to contribute.
