Sustainable Shorelines Committee and Norfolk Wetlands Board presents a free Public Wetlands Education Seminar for Norfolk residents. 

Seminar components will include:

• Functions and values of tidal wetlands
• Importance of tidal wetlands in marine ecosystems
• Tidal wetland restoration
• Norfolk’s “Living Shoreline” with before and after images of completed projects
• Presentation by City of Norfolk Staff on Wetlands Regulations
• Trip to view local marsh
