The City of Norfolk , 100 Resilient Cities, Street Plans, Downtown Norfolk, Work Release, IOBY, and Amec Foster Wheeler invite you to a hands-on “how-to” workshop showcasing small-scale projects you can do NOW to help address rainwater flooding in your neighborhood.

This workshop will provide information and show you how to get started on small-scale flood mitigation projects such as rain barrels, bioswales, blue/green roofs, planters, permeable pavement, cisterns, and more. You’ll have the chance to learn about project ideas in a short presentation, then get outside to build, paint, and plant.
