Join in the day-and-a-half long hazard mitigation “Plan Implementation and Grants Development Workshop” on June 14th and 15th in Chesapeake, VA. This event is organized by FEMA, State and local partners, will be held at the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission (723 Woodlake Dr.). Spaces are filling up fast!

The first day of this workshop will serve as an opportunity to explore mitigation strategies from different perspectives and to identify how to best implement these strategies. The second day will focus on mitigation grants and how to draft proposals. Participants on the second day are invited to bring hazard mitigation grant applications currently under development for review and discussion.
