Bob Inglis, former South Carolina Congressman, 2015 JFK Profiles in Courage Award winner, and founder of RepublicEn, an energy optimist and solutions organization, will be giving a lecture titled “Free Enterprise Solutions for Climate Change” at the University of Florida’s Rion Ballroom on March 30, 2016, at 4:00pm ET. Opportunities to meet with speaker will be announced at a later date.

ABSTRACT: Free-enterprise innovation would flourish in the energy sector if there were a “true cost” comparison between competing fuels. Founded and led by our Executive Director and former Congressman Bob Inglis (R-SC), RepublicEn.org believes in a revenue-neutral tax swap that eliminates all subsidies for all fuels, attaches all hidden costs to all fuels creating a true cost comparison and finally is “border adjustable.”
